About The Position
We are urgently hiring Certified Personal Support Specialists to work in and around Scarborough, with service areas including Scarborough, Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Old Orchard Beach, and Saco. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available Monday through Sunday, with options for long shifts or shorter visits. Pay is $20–$22 per hour based on experience. The role includes companionship and assistance with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and transportation.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Support Specialist (PSS).
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience.
- Valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle available for daily use.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support safe mobility and help with light activities.
- Prepare healthy meals and provide medication reminders.
- Provide transportation to errands and appointments.
