Personal Support Assistant (PSA) / Caregiver - 24/7 Live-In
About The Position
Dungarvin is seeking compassionate, caring, home health care workers for a 24/7 live-in Personal Support Assistant (PSA) / Caregiver opportunity. In this role, you will work directly with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs, providing person-centered supports to help them live as independently as possible. You will provide assistance in a residential setting and enhance the quality of life for individuals in their homes and in the community. This is a live-in placement where you will have the ability to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives by coaching, mentoring, and encouraging them to reach their goals.
Requirements
- Person-centered, patient, and kind.
- Dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
- Observant and detail-oriented.
- Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team.
- Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
- Computer skills for documentation.
- 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Comfortable driving to transport persons served as required.
- Successful background clearance.
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in a residential setting.
- Provide personal and companion care.
- Enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in their home setting as well as out in the community.
- Provide support services and assistance to individuals in their homes or in the community.
- Coach, mentor, and encourage others to reach their goals.
- Document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with team members.
