As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. On the sales floor and in fitting rooms, you use warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales goals, and inspire customer loyalty. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. You prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling products, and keeping informed about trends and promotions. You engage customers in friendly, personal conversations and build relationships. You maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and merchandise selected for return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. You share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere, personalized thank-you. You collaborate with colleagues, pursue continuous improvement, and work toward individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
