About The Position

The Personal Shopper joins a high-energy, fast-paced team supporting Lowes Foods To Go, the company’s online ordering program. This role efficiently picks, stages, and fulfills guest orders, while building relationships over time to understand guests’ needs and preferences. The position offers hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics, information technology, customer service, and grocery retail, and supports creative marketing and outreach programs that help achieve store eCommerce goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing and energetic and creates positive, genuine interactions with guests.

Requirements

Ability to work well with others, including people with differing personalities and viewpoints.
Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and take direction.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively with and take direction from supervisors.
Ability to work well with, or learn to work well with, computers, handheld Android or iOS devices, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of systems or mechanical issues with assistance from the Guest Service team.

Responsibilities

Pick guests’ orders according to operational guidelines and best practices.
Interact with guests in a genuine, fun, and interactive manner.
Work efficiently when picking, staging, and carrying out orders.
Greet guests and review orders with them.
Safely handle, bag, and load orders.
Record variances on guest pick lists.
Maintain records applicable to the position and Lowes Foods To Go, and transmit data as scheduled.
Perform basic hardware and software maintenance.
Maintain the Lowes Foods To Go station and its equipment.
Communicate service issues to support resources and store management.
Promote the program in-store.
Periodically assist with or conduct marketing in the community.
Provide in-store guest service as needed, including bagging, helping guests locate products, and cleaning.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
