About The Position

The Personal Shopper joins a high-energy, fast-paced team supporting Lowes Foods To Go, the company’s online ordering program. The role involves efficiently picking guest orders and building relationships with guests over time to understand their needs and preferences. The position offers hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics, information technology, customer service, and grocery retail, and supports creative marketing and outreach programs that help achieve store eCommerce goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing and energetic, with the ability to interact positively and genuinely with guests.

Requirements

Friendly, energetic, genuine, and outgoing personality.
Strong people skills and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely.
Ability to work well with others, including people with differing personalities and viewpoints.
Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and take direction.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively with and take direction from supervision.
Ability to work well with, or learn to work well with, computers and handheld Android/iOS devices; basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of systems and/or mechanical issues with assistance from the Guest Service team.

Responsibilities

Pick guests’ orders according to operational guidelines and best practices.
Interact with guests in a genuine, fun, and interactive manner.
Work efficiently and purposefully when picking, staging, and carrying out orders.
Greet guests properly and review orders with them.
Handle, bag, and load orders effectively and safely.
Record variances on guest pick lists.
Maintain records applicable to the position and Lowes Foods To Go, and transmit data as scheduled.
Perform basic maintenance on hardware and software.
Maintain the Lowes Foods To Go station and its equipment.
Communicate service issues to support resources and store management.
Promote the program in-store.
Periodically assist with or conduct marketing in the community.
Provide in-store guest service as needed, including bagging, helping guests locate products, and cleaning.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
