About The Position

Join a high-energy, fast-paced team supporting Lowes Foods To Go, the company’s online ordering program. The Personal Shopper efficiently picks guest orders and builds relationships over time to understand guests’ needs and preferences. The role provides hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics, information technology, customer service, and grocery retail, and supports creative marketing and outreach programs to help achieve store eCommerce goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing and energetic and interacts positively and genuinely with guests.

Requirements

Friendly, energetic, genuine, and outgoing personality.
Strong people skills and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely.
Ability to work well with others, including people with differing personalities and viewpoints.
Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and follow directions.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively with and take direction from supervisors.
Ability to work well with, or learn to work well with, computers and handheld Android/iOS devices.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of systems and/or mechanical issues with assistance from the Guest Service team.

Responsibilities

Pick guests’ orders according to operational guidelines and best practices.
Interact with guests in a genuine, fun, and interactive manner.
Work efficiently when picking, staging, and carrying out orders.
Greet guests and review orders with them.
Safely handle, bag, and load orders.
Record variances on guest pick lists.
Maintain applicable position and LFTG records and transmit data as scheduled.
Perform basic hardware and software maintenance.
Maintain the LFTG station and its equipment.
Communicate service issues to support resources and store management.
Promote the program in the store.
Periodically assist with or conduct community marketing.
Provide in-store guest service as needed, including bagging, helping guests locate products, and cleaning.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
