About The Position

The Personal Shopper supports Lowes Foods To Go, the company’s online ordering program, by efficiently picking guest orders and providing positive, genuine guest interactions. The role offers hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics, information technology, customer service, and grocery retail, and supports creative marketing and outreach programs that help achieve store eCommerce goals. The ideal candidate is outgoing and energetic and enjoys interacting with guests. Pay starts at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Friendly, energetic, genuine, and outgoing personality.
• Strong people skills and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely.
• Ability to work well with others, including people with differing personalities and viewpoints.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and follow directions.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and take direction from supervisors.
• Ability to work well with, or learn to work well with, computers and handheld Android or iOS devices; basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of system or mechanical issues with assistance from the Guest Service team.

Responsibilities

• Pick guests’ orders according to operational guidelines and best practices.
• Interact with guests in a genuine, fun, and engaging manner.
• Work efficiently when picking, staging, and carrying out orders.
• Greet guests and review orders with them.
• Safely handle, bag, and load orders.
• Record variances on guest pick lists.
• Maintain applicable position and LFTG records and transmit data as scheduled.
• Perform basic hardware and software maintenance.
• Maintain the LFTG station and its equipment.
• Communicate service issues to support resources and store management.
• Promote the program in the store.
• Periodically assist with or conduct community marketing.
• Provide in-store guest service as needed, including bagging, helping guests locate products, and cleaning.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
