About The Position

Camellia Place, a Claiborne Senior Living Community, is hiring a Personal Services Assistant (PSA/Caregiver) to provide hands-on care and support to senior residents. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, supporting meals and household tasks, monitoring and documenting residents’ care, following safety and infection control guidelines, and communicating with residents, families, and team members. Training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiver, CNA, or senior living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support meals, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
