Requirements

  • Active California Property & Casualty License (required)
  • Strong experience in Property & Casualty insurance sales / advisory
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in client relationship management and retention
  • Ability to understand business risks and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Background working within an insurance brokerage or agency environment
  • Property & Casualty insurance expertise
  • Strong business development / sales ability
  • Client-facing communication and relationship management
  • Ability to generate and grow a book of business
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CRM/AMS systems (Epic preferred)

  • 4+ years as a Risk Advisor
  • Existing transferable book of business

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and client retention by building strong relationships with prospects, clients, and centers of influence.
  • Understand business risks, ask the right questions, and deliver tailored Property & Casualty insurance solutions.
  • Create and execute a Personal Excellence Plan.
  • Actively generate leads.
  • Deliver presentations for new and renewal business.
  • Follow the company’s TotalRISK sales methodology.
  • Cross-sell services and generate referrals.
  • Participate in team-based selling efforts.
  • Proactively manage renewals and review proposals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to design appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in Epic.
  • Resolve client issues related to claims, billing, and coverage.
  • Maintain a profitable book of business.
  • Engage in community and professional activities, including attending industry events, contributing to associations, participating in non-profits, and delivering presentations.
  • Continuously learn and execute your Personal Excellence Plan.
