Our Personal Risk Advisors serve as a trusted insurance expert for individuals and families—offering tailored personal insurance solutions and proactive guidance. You’ll develop long-term client relationships, assess personal risks, and recommend strategies that provide clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Supported by a dedicated account management team, your focus will remain on sales, education, and client success. Requirements

  • Outside B2C or B2B sales experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in personal lines insurance preferred but not required
  • Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Consultative, solution-based sales approach
  • Proficient in technology tools such as Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems
  • Ability to manage time independently and maintain an organized pipeline

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive personal risk assessments with new and existing clients.
  • Uncover exposures in home, auto, umbrella, valuable items, rental properties, and recreational vehicles.
  • Design customized insurance portfolios tailored to each client’s needs and lifestyle.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with individuals and families.
  • Serve as a resource before, during, and after major life events (new home, new driver, marriage, etc.).
  • Conduct proactive annual reviews to ensure appropriate coverage and retention.
  • Generate leads and referrals through networking, community involvement, and client relationships.
  • Present insurance proposals, close new business, and follow through on new client onboarding.
  • Meet or exceed production goals for new business written, cross-sales, and account rounding.
  • Partner with account managers who handle servicing, endorsements, billing questions, and policy changes.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and carrier reps for market access, quoting, and underwriting support.
  • Participate in ongoing training, sales meetings, and mentorship programs.
