This role is responsible for overseeing the growth and profitability of auto and home insurance for a group of states. In addition, you will be responsible for countrywide initiatives that may include assigned lines of business. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Some departments at our Headquarters offer a hybrid work option that may vary depending on your role and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of rate-making methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to analyze data, develop strategic recommendations and operationalize them
  • A bachelor’s degree in a field related to business or analytics
  • Four or more years of insurance experience with an emphasis on personal lines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Product management and pricing experience

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the growth and profitability of auto and home insurance for a group of states.
  • Responsible for countrywide initiatives that may include assigned lines of business.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and sales associates on state strategy and initiatives.
  • Drive implementation of countrywide strategies and rate, rule and form initiatives.
  • Develop state-specific strategies in agency management, competitive position, etc.
  • Mentor product analysts and help develop their skills.
  • Develop reports to show the overall health of a state and communicate them to business partners and management.
  • Collaborate with IT associates on product implementation and testing.
