About The Position
Ross Insurance Agency is a fast-growing independent insurance agency offering clients choices from multiple carriers and personal, responsive service. The agency is seeking a licensed Personal Lines Account Manager who enjoys helping people, works effectively in a busy office, and takes ownership of client relationships. The position reports directly to the agency owner and has an impact on the agency’s success. As the agency grows, there are opportunities to advance into larger roles.
Requirements
- Active New York State Department of Financial Services Property & Casualty license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients by phone, email, text, and walk-in.
- Process changes and endorsements for existing personal lines policies through carrier portals.
- Take payments and handle billing, including reminder calls and non-payment notices.
- Contact clients about renewal increases, review their options, and remarket when needed.
- Quote new business for referrals and existing clients.
- Report claims and follow up with clients to support a smooth claims experience.
