Requirements
- Proven experience in property insurance claims processing, casualty insurance, or personal injury law.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with specialized estimating software such as Xactimate.
- Knowledge of insurance law, claims adjudication processes, and regulatory frameworks governing insurance claims.
- Expertise in fraud prevention and detection techniques relevant to insurance claims.
- Familiarity with auto estimating tools and property damage assessment methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective client communication skills that foster trust and clarity throughout the claims process.
- Analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex data sets related to liability and damages.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using financial software for claims adjusting purposes is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate personal injury claims by reviewing medical reports, accident reports, and relevant documentation to determine liability and damages.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and insurance adjusters to reach equitable resolutions efficiently.
- Analyze claims data using advanced software such as Xactimate and estimating tools for accurate property and casualty damage assessments.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies during all stages of claims adjudication and settlement negotiations.
- Detect potential fraud indicators through thorough analysis skills and implement preventive measures accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, legal representatives, and internal teams to provide updates and clarify claim details.
- Collaborate with claims adjusters, legal counsel, and underwriters to facilitate smooth claims processing and resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of negotiations, correspondence, and case progress within financial software systems.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance law, regulation updates, and industry best practices to uphold high standards of regulatory compliance.
- Assist in training junior staff on claims negotiation techniques, fraud detection methods, and software utilization.
