About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Case Manager to join our legal support team. Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of personal injury law along with familiarity in related areas such as workers' compensation law and civil litigation support.
- Proven experience in legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other research databases.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal case management systems including PCLaw, iManage, and document management systems.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Experience with procedural law knowledge relevant to civil litigation processes.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document preparation and data management.
- Strong research capabilities combined with attention to detail in proofreading and document review.
- Project management skills that enable seamless coordination among team members and external parties.
- 2-10+ Years of personal injury law firm (Case Manager) experience.

- Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative support background is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of personal injury cases, including initial client intake, case evaluation, and ongoing case management.
- Gather and review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documentation to support case development.
- Maintain detailed case files using legal case management systems such as PCLaw and iManage, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and explain legal processes.
- Collaborate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to facilitate settlement negotiations or trial preparations.
- Conduct legal research on procedural law, civil litigation support, and relevant statutes to inform case strategies.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, settlement agreements, and reports with precision and clarity.
- Manage deadlines for filings and court appearances in compliance with procedural law requirements.
- Utilize research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and legal precedents.
- Support administrative tasks including data entry, document review, proofreading, and maintaining organized client records.
- Assist with billing processes using legal support software like PCLaw while ensuring accuracy in timekeeping and expense tracking.
- Handle confidential information responsibly while adhering to professional standards of privacy.
