About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Attorney to join its team in Jacksonville. As an associate, the attorney will work closely with the firm’s attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials. The firm describes its mission as protecting consumers and standing up for people against insurance companies, large corporations, and defective goods.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in personal injury law.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to clients and trial-assist attorneys.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Prepare legal reports and documents.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including through conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Work closely with Litigation Paralegals and Case Managers.
