About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Attorney to join its Jacksonville team. As an associate, the attorney will work closely with other attorneys and provide support to clients and trial-assist attorneys before, during, and after trials. The role involves maintaining client relationships, preparing legal reports and documents, collaborating with litigation paralegals and case managers, and participating in depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in personal injury law.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to clients and trial-assist attorneys.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Prepare legal reports and documents.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Work closely with litigation paralegals and case managers.
