This role is crucial in building the teams that deliver outstanding results for clients. The recruiter will partner with hiring managers, influence hiring decisions, and attract top talent in a collaborative, innovative, and high-accountability culture. The firm is headquartered in Miami Lakes, Florida, with offices in New York and Orlando, and is expanding nationally.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting an in-house legal department, corporate legal function, law firm, or legal services organization.
  • Proven experience recruiting for legal and compliance roles, including attorneys, paralegals, legal operations professionals, contracts specialists, compliance professionals, and administrative support staff.
  • Experience conducting behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess technical qualifications, professional judgment, and organizational fit.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent searches and partnering with hiring managers across legal, compliance, risk, privacy, regulatory, and business functions.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence hiring decisions while serving as a trusted advisor to legal leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified legal talent across multiple levels and practice areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics, workforce planning data, and market trends to improve hiring outcomes and support organizational growth.
  • Ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, equal employment opportunity requirements, and recruiting compliance best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, legal professionals, executives, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), candidate relationship management tools, and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong professional writing skills, including creating job descriptions, candidate communications, interview materials, and offer documentation.
  • Experience presenting recruiting updates, talent market insights, hiring strategies, and workforce planning recommendations to hiring managers and leadership teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting for corporate legal departments, in-house counsel teams, compliance organizations, or regulated industries.
  • Experience hiring attorneys across a variety of specialties, including commercial, employment, litigation, privacy, regulatory, contracts, intellectual property, or corporate governance.
  • Experience supporting remote, hybrid, and multi-location recruiting initiatives.
  • Knowledge of legal department structures, attorney career progression, legal operations functions, and corporate governance practices.
  • Experience partnering with senior legal executives, including General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers, Associate General Counsel, and legal operations leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle for legal and operational positions.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for priority roles.
  • Screen candidates against minimum qualifications and role requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications.
  • Prepare offers and support onboarding transitions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical positions.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Develop proactive recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain a positive employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities.
  • Provide market insights and recruiting updates.
  • Recommend sourcing strategies and pipeline improvements.
  • Facilitate timely interview feedback and hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in SmartRecruiters.
  • Create and manage job postings.
  • Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, offer acceptance rates, and pipeline health.
  • Ensure compliance with company hiring procedures and employment laws.
