Personal caregiver overnight
About The Position
ComForCare Home Care is hiring a personal caregiver to provide personalized one-on-one assistance to seniors in their private homes, helping them live independently and comfortably. The role involves overnight shifts, with flexible scheduling intended to accommodate family, work, and school commitments. Every other weekend is required, and occasional holiday shifts may be scheduled; holiday shifts are paid at time-and-a-half. Compensation is $17.50–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. Caregivers receive ongoing training, supportive management, and field support, and are thoughtfully matched with compatible clients. The position offers health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) and matching, and paid sick time. The role is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee, which is the employer responsible for employment decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Access to reliable transportation and a current, valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
- Genuine passion for serving others and helping them live their best life possible.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an in-home caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home care or senior living communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one personal care and companionship to seniors in private homes.
