The CorsoCare Personal Care Director is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of administrative, clinical, and resident care services within a senior living community environment. This role actively supports our culture and directly manages all Wellness Staff to provide compassionate and competent care for residents. The Director implements and coordinates all services for residents, performs evaluations and ongoing assessments, and sets measurable goals and outcomes to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Personal Care Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws. The role involves building resident and family relationships, managing department operations within budget parameters, planning staff meetings and trainings, and acting as a resident advocate with third-party care providers. Additionally, the Director develops training programs, hires staff, manages emergency policies, orders supplies, leads wellness discussions, conducts team check-ins, facilitates health clinics, attends leadership meetings, participates in resident forums, follows up on incidents, manages service agreements, and provides on-the-floor support as needed.
