The CorsoCare Personal Care Director is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of administrative, clinical, and resident care services within a senior living community environment. This role actively supports our culture and directly manages all Wellness Staff to provide compassionate and competent care for residents. The Director implements and coordinates all services for residents, performs evaluations and ongoing assessments, and sets measurable goals and outcomes to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Personal Care Department, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This includes assisting staff with criteria interpretation, evaluating occurrence reports, building resident and family relationships, managing department inventory within budget, and planning staff meetings and trainings. The Director also acts as a resident advocate, develops care associate assignments, organizes staff training, interviews and hires staff, and ensures knowledge of emergency policies. They lead wellness chats, conduct check-ins with wellness team members, facilitate blood pressure clinics, attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in resident forums, follow up on falls, perform safety assessments, coordinate returns for residents on LOA, and manage service agreements to ensure resident care packages align with ADL needs. Supporting on the floor as needed is also part of the role.
