The CorsoCare Personal Care Director is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of administrative, clinical, and resident care services within a senior living community environment. This role actively supports the company culture and directly manages all Wellness Staff to provide compassionate and competent care for residents. The director implements and coordinates all services for residents, performs evaluations and ongoing assessments, and sets measurable goals and outcomes to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Personal Care Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws. This includes providing assistance to staff, evaluating occurrence reports, building resident and family relationships, completing paperwork, managing the department's budget and inventory, planning staff meetings and trainings, acting as a resident advocate, developing care associate assignments, and organizing staff training. The director also handles hiring within budget, ensures knowledge of emergency policies, orders supplies, leads wellness chats, conducts team check-ins, facilitates health clinics, attends stand-up meetings, participates in resident forums, follows up on falls, performs safety assessments, coordinates resident returns from LOA, and manages service agreements to ensure resident care packages meet their needs. Supporting on the floor as needed is also part of the role.
