About The Position
LaurelHurst and LaurelWoods, a Sonida Senior Living community in Columbus, North Carolina, is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to support residents in its independent living, assisted living, and memory care community. The role provides assistance with daily living and care needs while encouraging residents’ self-care and independence, and treating residents with dignity and respect. The community offers flexible scheduling, training, technology intended to support resident care, and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefit eligibility depends on employment status and location.
Requirements
- Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to senior residents.
- Value being a dependable and responsible member of the broader team.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
- Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
- Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
- May help plan and execute regularly scheduled resident activities.
- Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
