About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant provides in-home support to residents in and around Haverhill, Massachusetts. The role includes personal care, help with meals and medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings on weekdays or weekends. Full-time and part-time options are available. The listed pay is $19 per hour.
Requirements
- Active PCA certification.
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hygiene, bathing, dressing, mobility, and light exercise.
- Prepare meals, handle snacks, and track dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders and transportation to errands or appointments.
- Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and dishes.
- Provide companionship to residents.
