About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver provides in-home support to residents in and around Haverhill, Massachusetts. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship. The role offers schedule options across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with all days open.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hygiene, bathing, dressing, mobility, and light exercise.
- Prepare meals and snacks and track dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders and transportation to errands or appointments.
- Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and dishes.
- Provide companionship to residents.
