About The Position

Circle of Life Personal Care provides non-medical care in Northwest Arkansas, extending the organization’s compassionate approach to services such as respite care, companionship, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and assistance with activities of daily living. Personal Care Assistants provide support tailored to client needs and caregiver fit. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, the ability to choose assignments and coverage areas, paid drive time between clients, and mileage reimbursement for errands or client transportation. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with a weekend differential for work between 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday. Other offerings include performance-based annual increases, education assistance for eligible employees, support with obtaining PCA or CNA certifications, continuing education, paid time off for full-time and part-time employees, and health insurance for full-time employees working qualified hours.

Requirements

Demonstrate compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients.
Be able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Have a valid and current driver's license or access to reliable transportation.
Meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Nice To Haves

Prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and sitting services.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Transport and assist clients to appointments.
Run errands and transport clients to events.
Prepare meals.
Assist with light housekeeping.
Help clients with recreational activities such as crafting, letter writing, and exercising.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
