About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, non-medical home care services to seniors and adults, helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. The role supports clients in Woodbury, CT, and nearby communities, allowing them to live safely with dignity while providing peace of mind to families. No prior caregiving experience is necessary, as the company provides training and support.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation for client visits

• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

• Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
