About The Position

Right at Home Northwest Oklahoma City is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living. If you have experience as a Caregiver, Home Caregiver, Personal Caregiver, we would love to hear from you. As a Caregiver, you will help clients maintain their dignity, independence, comfort, and safety while receiving care in their own homes. We value candidates who bring previous caregiving experience, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to quality care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
• Willingness to complete required background checks and onboarding.
• Reliable transportation to client homes, as required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Personal Caregiver, PCA, HHA, CNA, or direct-care professional is preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, according to the care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers when appropriate and within your training.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Provide medication reminders according to company policies and the care plan.
• Follow individualized care plans and document care as required.
• Communicate changes in client condition or needs to the appropriate team members.
