About The Position
Right at Home Northwest Oklahoma City is hiring dependable and compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to assist seniors and adults with daily living in the comfort of their homes. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience as a Personal Care Aide, PCA, Caregiver or home care professional who want to use their existing skills to provide personalized support. As a Personal Care Aide, you will help clients with personal hygiene, daily routines, mobility, and other activities according to their individualized care plans and your authorized scope of practice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Homemaker Companion or in a similar role
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and valid driver’s license, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with applicable laws
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide, PCA, Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or similar direct-care professional is preferred.
- Understanding of personal care, activities of daily living, and client safety.
- Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to individual needs.
- Ability to follow care instructions and complete required documentation.
- Willingness to complete onboarding and required background screening.
- Reliable transportation to client locations, as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Support clients with daily living activities while respecting their dignity and independence.
- Assist with mobility, walking, and transfers within your training and assigned duties.
- Prepare meals and provide assistance with eating as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Complete light housekeeping related to client care.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with company policies.
- Follow care plans and report changes in client needs or condition.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communication.
