About The Position

Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate care in clients’ homes. The role supports people with daily activities and helps them maintain independence in a safe, nurturing environment. Compensation is $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. Various shifts are available, including full-time and part-time, with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related role is preferred.
• Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual, with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and a negative TB test.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Support meal planning and preparation based on clients’ dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean living environment.
