About The Position
Eminence Home Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants to help clients remain safe and supported in their homes. The role involves providing assistance with everyday needs in accordance with individualized care plans, promptly reporting significant changes, and demonstrating care and compassion in every interaction. Ideal candidates have experience in home care, healthcare, and/or customer service.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test.
- Professional references must be verified.
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Proven experience in home care, healthcare, and/or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Help prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist with light housekeeping.
- Run errands as needed.
- Follow individualized care plans and promptly report significant changes.
