About The Position

Transitions Healthcare Shook Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide to support residents with personal care and activities of daily living. The role focuses on promoting residents’ dignity, independence, comfort, and safety while contributing to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Requirements

A genuine desire to care for and support older adults.
Dependable and compassionate, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

Current Medication Technician certification preferred.
Previous personal care, assisted living, senior living, or related caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
Provide compassionate assistance while promoting resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team member.
Help maintain necessary resident care supplies and notify leadership when additional supplies are needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Communicate and work effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and other care team members.
Work independently while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership.
