Requirements

Genuine care for others.
CPR certification.
First Aid certification.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

Responsibilities

Bathe residents and assist them with activities of daily living.
Monitor stock levels of equipment and other supplies to ensure they are maintained on premises to meet residents’ needs.
Recommend changes in techniques or procedures to support cost-effective and efficient operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or administration.
Work effectively as a team member and independently, with flexibility and personal integrity.
Help maintain and enhance a positive physical, emotional, and psychosocial environment for residents, visitors, and personnel.
Relate to and work with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally unstable, or volatile.
