About The Position
Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as caregivers. This role involves assisting elderly residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility. The position also includes responsibilities as a resident assistant, dining server, and a supportive friend to residents. The residents at Providence Place range from independent living to personal care and memory care in a specialized dementia neighborhood. The company is committed to developing its co-workers and providing excellent care to its residents.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable.
- Must be able to work every other weekend/every other holiday.
- Entry Level position - training provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly residents with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, mobility).
- Serve as a resident assistant.
- Act as a dining server.
- Provide companionship and support to residents.
