About The Position

Immediate positions open for Personal Care Aides (FT & PT). This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, providing mobility support, performing light housekeeping, offering companionship, monitoring client condition, providing medication reminders, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current PCA certification (Virginia)
• CPR AED and First Aid certification
• TB Test required (must test negative)
• Ability to assist clients with mobility or transfer needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate attitude
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
• Ability to work independently and follow written care plans
• Basic documentation and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One (1) year of experience in personal care or home health (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding
• Provide mobility support including transfers, ambulation and repositioning
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as part of daily care routines
• Offer companionship, emotional support and encourage client engagement in activities
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the supervisor
• Provide medication reminders as directed in the care plan
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Adhere to infection control, safety and privacy protocols at all times
