About The Position
The Personal Care Aide provides in-home personal care and support to clients, helping improve their quality of life while preserving their comfort and dignity. The role includes assistance with personal hygiene and daily activities, companionship, household tasks, and client safety. The position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00–$23.58, with daily pay options. Schedules and weekly hours may grow based on availability.
Requirements
- HHA certification and/or valid CNA certification from the State of Massachusetts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to client homes.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed, up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals, through professional or personal experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
