Requirements

Ability to work well as part of a team in a supportive care environment
Compassionate and patient with strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

PCA certification preferred
will consider strong candidates without prior experience who are caring and dependable

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and walking
Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity while respecting Resident’s Rights and HIPAA policies
Answer call lights promptly and make unit rounds as scheduled
Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the staff member in charge
Assist with resident meals, hydration, and weights, reporting significant changes as directed
Help with laundry, bed making, and maintaining a clean, orderly living environment
Promote independence, encouragement, and companionship for residents
