About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide personalized, home-based support that helps seniors live safely and happily at home. The role includes personal care, assistance with daily activities, companionship, and support with mobility and household needs. Aides also provide medication reminders, document client conditions, report concerns to a supervisor, and help maintain a safe home environment. The position offers competitive pay of $12.00–$17.00, determined by experience, a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio, and the ability to set a schedule. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Pennsylvania.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
Participate in enjoyable activities with clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
