About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide personalized, home-based care to seniors in Warner Robins, Georgia. The role supports clients who need help with daily activities so they can live safely at home. Caregivers work one-to-one with clients and can set their own schedules. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certificate in Georgia.
- CPR certification and first aid.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
- Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
- Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
