About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide personalized, client-centered support to seniors in their homes in Paulding County, Georgia. The role offers flexibility and work-life balance, including the ability to set your own schedule, and a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio. Online training and CEUs are available to help aides build their skills. The position focuses on helping clients live safely at home by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, supporting mobility, offering companionship, and monitoring and communicating concerns about clients’ conditions. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Personal Care Assistant Certificate in Georgia; Interim can assist with obtaining the certificate.
Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification.
Current TB screening within the past 12 months.
Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to seniors so they can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Engage clients in activities they enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
