Personal Care Aide II
About The Position
International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a nationally recognized community health center that has provided medical, dental, and wellness care for over 50 years to individuals and families facing significant barriers to care. ICHS believes that quality health care supports stronger families, healthier communities, and a more just society. The Personal Care Aide II is part of the Healthy Aging and Wellness Program (HAWP) and will provide support to HAWP clients and day center programming. This role involves running program activities, organizing program space, assisting clients with basic personal care and other individual needs, and supporting clients in achieving their care plan goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in WA state required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required within thirty (30) days of hire
- Food Handler’s Permit required within thirty (30) days of hire
- Fluency in English is required
Nice To Haves
- One year of healthcare experience with the geriatric population preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or other Asian/Pacific Islander language is valued
