About The Position

Countybank is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Personal Banking Associate to serve new and existing customers at its Upstate financial centers, primarily in Greenville and Greer. Under the direction and coaching of the Floating Teller Team Lead, this associate provides customers and prospects with financial solutions that meet their needs and accurately and efficiently processes routine teller and desk transactions in compliance with standard banking procedures. The role requires confidentiality and a commitment to Countybank’s corporate culture and to serving clients, communities, and fellow associates.

This is a full-time position in a smoke- and drug-free workplace. Compensation is commensurate with experience, education, and level of expertise.

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service and sales experience, including handling cash.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer navigation skills.
• High school diploma required.
• Willingness to obtain, apply, and share knowledge.
• Genuine commitment to customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual applicants are a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

• Perform transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support bank initiatives and proactively seek ways to enhance service and referral performance.
• Listen to and understand customers’ needs, respond appropriately, and identify opportunities to make quality referrals to teammates and internal business partners.
• Serve others with respect, putting people first.
• Follow regulations, compliance requirements, bank policies and procedures, and delegated authorities.
• Serve new and existing customers at Upstate financial centers, primarily in Greenville and Greer.
• Process routine teller and desk transactions in accordance with standard banking procedures.
