Personal Banking Associate-Teller Upstate
About The Position
Countybank is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Personal Banking Associate to serve new and existing customers at its Greer financial center. The role provides customers and prospects with financial solutions that meet their needs and accurately and efficiently processes routine teller and desk transactions in compliance with standard banking procedures. Confidentiality and commitment to Countybank’s corporate culture are essential. This is a full-time, onsite position in a smoke- and drug-free workplace. Some Saturday banking hours are required. Compensation is commensurate with experience, education, and expertise.
Requirements
- At least one year of customer service and sales experience, including handling cash.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer navigation skills.
- High school diploma.
- Willingness to obtain, apply, and share knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual applicants are a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve new and existing customers and provide financial solutions that meet their needs.
- Accurately and promptly process routine teller and desk transactions in accordance with standard banking procedures.
- Support bank initiatives and look for ways to enhance customer service and referral performance.
- Identify opportunities to make quality referrals to teammates and internal business partners by listening to, understanding, and responding to customers’ needs.
- Serve others with respect and uphold the value of putting people first.
- Follow applicable regulations, compliance requirements, bank policies and procedures, and delegated authorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and embrace the bank’s corporate culture.
