About The Position

As a Personal Banker in PNC’s retail banking organization, you will be based at 12951 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618. The role acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, identifies opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing, and collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet. You position PNC solutions to generate revenue and customer loyalty, and deliver a differentiated customer experience by understanding customer needs and educating customers on ways to manage financial transactions using available technology, tools, and resources. The position is in-office. Spanish-speaking ability is required. PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Candidates considered for the role may be subject to additional background checks required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Requirements

Spanish speaking ability is required.
Typically requires 3 or more years of experience.
Roles at this level typically require an associate degree or equivalent, along with related experience or product knowledge; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate to the role, including customer focus and effective risk management.
Candidates are subject to applicable background checks required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Responsibilities

Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing and position appropriate PNC solutions.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain customer relationships.
Conduct proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales interactions, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
Deliver a full PNC conversation during every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
Build customer loyalty and grow customers’ share of wallet through a differentiated experience.
Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and resolve customer problems.
Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment, and applying heightened scrutiny to avoid loss.
Participate in branch daily operations and ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.
