About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, assistance with activities of daily living, and help with programs, dining, activities, housekeeping, and laundry. The position is listed as full-time, with a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift. Team members are expected to contribute to a supportive environment that promotes residents’ wellness, security, joy, and self-worth.

Requirements

• Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but is not required unless mandated by state requirements.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to assisted living and memory care residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Report changes in residents’ health and status.
• Complete daily data sheets to record residents’ progress.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
• Help with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
