About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants provide compassionate, direct resident care in the Assisted Living community, promoting healing and recovery. They work collaboratively with skilled clinicians and nurses and follow each resident’s individualized plan of care. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals, while encouraging residents to do as much of their own care as they are able.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Florida-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.).
Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community members.
Empathy, energy, and an affinity for working with a diverse senior population.
Complete and pass a Level II background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents according to individualized plans of care.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
Help residents get to and from activities and meals.
Encourage residents to perform as much of their own care as they are able.
Collaborate with skilled clinicians and a team of nurses to support resident care.
