About The Position
UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for the Overland shift. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team-driven work environment. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider), you will perform responsibilities such as providing physical assistance with daily tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, and facilitating fun activities. You will also follow medical orders, administer medications, and most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings. UCP Heartland strives to be the provider of choice supporting people living with disabilities, and this role makes a difference in people's lives 365 days a year.
Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's license
- Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
- A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer Proficiency
- Reliable transportation
- 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM (paid training)
