UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) to support people living with disabilities. This role involves providing physical assistance with daily tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, and facilitating fun activities. Key responsibilities include following medical orders, administering medications, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), performing lifting and transferring tasks (including using ceiling lifts and repositioning in wheelchairs), and providing adaptive transportation. The DSP will also be responsible for shift documentation using Set-Works and general housekeeping. A crucial aspect of the role is to provide choices to clients for their daily activities, ensuring entertainment and community outings.
