About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a part-time shift of 21 hours weekly in Olivette. The role involves providing direct care and support to individuals living with disabilities. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team-driven work environment and strives to be the provider of choice in supporting people with disabilities, making a difference in their lives 365 days a year. The position pays $20.00/Hour.

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
• Assist with personal hygiene
• Facilitate fun activities
• Follow medical orders and administer medications
• Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings
