Responsibilities

  • Work with and learn from Managers, Permit Coordinators and HVAC Installation Technicians on the team; use this guidance and their recommendations to learn daily work flow and best practices
  • Learn and develop proficiency with permitting processes and systems
  • Build relationships to positively establish the Sansone Air Conditioning name and utilize existing relationships to build a reputation as a professional in the Permit Coordinator position
  • Develop and establish time management skills and efficient use of resources
  • Ask questions when unclear about a process or policy
  • Take pride in a job well done as well as accountability for mistakes
  • Work with other departments to facilitate a positive work atmosphere
  • Learn and become proficient with the process of following-up with old cases and emailing appropriate departments to move account forward in permitting process and document any changes in job cases or status a minimum of two times per week
  • Learn and become proficient with the process to neatly gather and submit all paperwork as required of the building departments
  • Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance wearing business casual clothing or company specific apparel
  • Use meetings as a time to share ideas and participate in feedback
  • Take guidance from your manager and senior colleagues to learn and develop knowledge of how the process works of getting permit packets to local municipals to drive a 0 queue each day, this may include either driving or mailing permit packets to local municipals
  • Learn and become proficient in picking up any permits submitted immediately following the specified turnaround time
  • Develop the knowledge necessary to become proficient with the maintenance process for company expense transactions for each job/account on a monthly basis by taking direction from accounts payable policy
