The Permit Coordinator role involves detailed coordination and efficient time and process management. You will process timely applications for building permits, ensuring all necessary documents are accurately submitted and tracked. Key responsibilities include managing responses to comments from permit applications, handling re-submittals, paying necessary fees, and obtaining building permits. You will ensure process flow permit trackers are always up to date. While primarily office-based, occasional travel to different jurisdictions is required to hand-deliver documentation and establish relationships to expedite permit processing. Your efforts ensure all submissions, from architectural plans to sales and construction trailer permits, meet company objectives and local requirements, maintaining professionalism in every interaction.
